As a general orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Steingart treats many orthopedic issues including but not limited to; the spine, hip, neck, shoulder, elbow, foot, and knees. Therefore, he is able to give an opinion on multiple body parts. Note, that Dr. Steingart does services for the plaintiff and defense, equally.

Independent Medical Examination: Dr. Steingart does a thorough history and examination of the client. He reviews all medical records and diagnostic studies to determine the cause, extent and medical treatment needed for work-related or other injuries. He may give an opinion on; if the claimant has maximum medical improvement, causation and whether any permanent impairment remains. Also, Dr. Steingart is able to estimate approximate future costs of orthopedic medical care.
Disability Rating and Impairment: Dr. Steingart is trained to give a disability rating according to the AMA Guidelines, for the 5th or 6th edition. He will also fill out any forms that are requested.
Medical Records Review: Dr. Steingart provides a comprehensive review of medical records and diagnostic testing. He advises on the medical scientific basis of claims and all issues as stated above for an independent medical examination but does not actually examine the claimant.
Expert Witness: Dr. Steingart is willing and able to do depositions and trail testimony.
